Food Preserving Competition

We invite you to show off your skills and enjoy a friendly competition with neighbours, family and friends.

All exhibits in the Baking Competitions will be compared against expectations of perfection in appearance, quality and taste. Winners announced at 3:00pm.

Winners will receive bragging rights, a ribbon and cash prize!

Categories include:

• Salsa

• Dill Pickles

• Pickled Carrots

• Spicy Pickled Bean

• Strawberry Jam

• Red Pepper Jelly

Entry Guidelines - Preserving

• All items must be dropped off at Alice and Fraser Recreation Centre on Saturday, September 20, 2025 between 12-1pm (1 Henan Road)

• $5.00 fee for each entry

• Entries may be picked up after winners are announced

• Preserved within this growing season

• Unsealed products will not be judged

• Labelled correctly (name of category, date prepared and your name)
