"Farming Techniques of the Early 1900s”
 
Petawawa Heritage Village showcases historical area buildings. An original one room school house was moved and reassembled, including original student’s desks. Numerous other original buildings have been moved and reassembled on site as well. Pioneer methods of accomplishing tasks are displayed; spinning yarn, forging in a blacksmith shop, carpentry.
 
Join us on October 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Petawawa Heritage Village at 176 Civic Centre Road.
 
This event is part of LV 50+ Fit & Feisty Coffee + Culture Connect program. The purpose of the program is to support the social participation and inclusion of residents aged 50+ to meet with peers and learn about diverse cultures and backgrounds within the Township and surrounding areas. This program is funded by the Federal Government's New Horizon Seniors Program Grant.

For virtual attendees, a $25 gift card will be provided to purchase a special lunch for the day of the conference.
